Abstract
The present study was undertaken to formulate and evaluate biotin-rich gummies using natural ingredients such as carrot, amla, beetroot, dates, lemon, and honey. These ingredients were selected for their natural biotin content, nutritional value, and additional health-promoting properties. The primary goal was to develop a palatable, easy-to-consume, and natural alternative to conventional biotin supplements, especially for individuals with difficulty swallowing tablets or capsules. The gummies were prepared using a suitable gelling agent to ensure proper consistency and chewable texture. The formulation process focused on maintaining the natural color, flavor, and stability of the ingredients without the use of synthetic additives or preservatives. Once prepared, the gummies were evaluated for various physical parameters including appearance, taste, texture, pH, and consistency. These evaluations helped determine the acceptability and overall quality of the product. Stability studies were conducted over a set period to observe any changes in physical characteristics and to ensure that the formulation remained consistent under recommended storage conditions. The results indicated that the gummies retained their desired physical properties, such as uniform texture, natural color, and pleasant taste, and remained stable over time.
