Abstract
This research examines the influence of emotive versus denotative language prompts on ChatGPT-3.5 responses, utilizing a sample of 40 students from the University of Tripoli Al-Ahlia (UTA). Participants engaged with ChatGPT-3.5 using both types of prompts, and Likert scale surveys were administered to gauge perceptions of response effectiveness, engagement, and authenticity. Quantitative analysis, including descriptive statistics and inferential techniques, revealed that emotive prompts enhanced the interest and memorability of ChatGPT-3.5 responses, while denotative prompts promoted clarity and accuracy. These findings offer valuable insights into the role of language prompts in shaping AI interactions and provide a foundation for future research on prompt engineering in educational settings.
