Abstract
This study explored the digital divide and equity in access to internet and its impact to learners’ academic achievement among the 181 learners from Pananay-an National High School, Lakandula National High School and Placer National High School. The study used a quantitative descriptive-correlational design. A validated survey was conducted in gathering the data for digital divide and equity in access so as the test scores in Math, English and Science. This study was analyzed via mean, standard deviation, pearson r correlation and regression. The study revealed that there was a persistent school based digital gaps yet high home equity and the learners got Very Satisfactory achievement in Math, English and Science with significant positive correlation. Device access in school came out as the strongest predictor of Academic achievement. Equity in access at home sustained strong performance yet enhancement of classroom internet access was recommended to help close the gap and optimize academic achievement across public schools.
