Abstract
In order to forecast long-term stability, forced degradation studies are an essential technique in pharmaceutical research and development. In order to understand drug behavior, stress studies should be conducted during method development. However, method validation can also be used to evaluate contaminants, predict stability, and address regulatory gaps. It is particularly useful when there is a lack of publicly available information regarding possible degradation products. In areas including formulation development, manufacturing, and packaging, where knowledge of substance conduct can be applied to enhance a pharmaceutical product, forced degradation research may support therapeutic advancement. Therefore, it's critical to understand a medicine substance's purity profile and behavior in a range of natural settings. Understanding synthetic conduct forced degradation pathways and degradants of drug material and drug product is crucial for developing stable formulations. Therefore, in the current review study, we detailed the general overview of forced degradation research by identifying the system to undertake stress tests and its methodologies for separation and identification of degradation, using various regulatory guidelines.
