Abstract
Throughout Ayurveda, nimba (Azadirachta indica A. Juss, Meliaceae) has been utilized widely. In Panchanga, the five parts of Nimba—root, bark, leaves, herb, and fruit—were utilized either singly or in combination to treat various illnesses. All elements of Nimba have a primarily bitter flavor, with the exception of Nimba, which is a sweet component that is sometimes accessible and requires particular handling. The trunk, big leaves, and roots of the Nimba tree spontaneously release nimba, a milky, delicious liquid. Nimba contains organic acids, free sugars, and amino acids. One of the most popular and successful herbal remedies in Ayurveda is nimba. There is an easily accessible herb that has antibacterial, antifungal, anthelmintic, diuretic, hypotensive, analgesic, and male contraceptive properties. The immune system is stimulated by nimba.Nearly every part of the plant—flowers, leaves, bark, fruit, seeds, and roots—can be used for full medical purposes. The chemical components that make up Nimba include Azadirachtin, Azadirachnol, Melianon, Nimocin, Nimbocetin, and others. Nimba leaf decoction is a highly efficient local treatment for feminine problems.
