Abstract
This article proposes a comprehensive theoretical framework for understanding leadership perenniality through the lens of spiritual anthropology. Integrating biblical theology, Malagasy spiritual anthropology (*hasina*, fanahy, fahendrena, fetsy, nirodana, nizarazara), empirical research (2024–2026), and moral philosophy (personalism, anthropology of gift), this study argues that leadership durability depends not on visible competencies but on the quality of the leader's active attachment to a transcendent source. The BEL Framework (Bibleship, Entrepreneurialship, Leadership) and the concept of Triple Excellence (Professional, Operational, Organizational) are articulated through the metaphor of the Iceberg of Leadership : above the waterline, visible excellence attracts attention ; below the waterline, invisible spiritual attachment anchors the entire structure. The paradigmatic cases of David and Solomon demonstrate that perenniality emerges from active attachment and the reflex of return, while collapse (nirodana, nizarazara) follows the erosion of Bibleship. Drawing on interepistemic methodology, the study concludes that perenniality is not a management technique but a way of being human – a movement from Homo Faber (governed by technique and fetsy) to Homo Transcendens (governed by fahendrena and the Spirit). The article contributes to leadership theory by articulating the spiritual and anthropological foundations of durable authority, and offers a practical dashboard for leadership self-assessment.
