Abstract
The purpose of the study was to examine the influence of Transformational Leadership and Organizational Clime on the job satisfaction of public elementary and High school teachers in Bunawan, Agusan del Sur. A quantitative approach was employed using correlational research design. Validated, adapted, and modified questionnaires were used to gather data on transformational leadership, organizational climate and job satisfaction administered among the 24 public Elementary and Secondary schools. transformational leadership was measured through vision, supportive leadership, Intellectual stimulation and personal recognition, while organizational climate was assessed through collegial leadership, teachers’ professionalism, academic press and institutional vulnerability. Teacher job satisfaction was evaluated in terms of pay, promotion, supervision, Fringe and benefits, Recognition, Operating Conditions, coworkers, nature of work and communication. Descriptive results indicated that teachers experienced high job satisfaction despite moderate levels of Transformational Leadership and organizational climate. Correlational analysis showed that transformational leadership and organizational climate had a significant moderate positive relationship with job satisfaction. Regression analysis further revealed that three domains of transformational leadership such as personal recognition, supportive leadership and intellectual stimulation were significant predictors of job satisfaction. While all domain of organizational climate serves as predictors of job satisfaction among teachers. Among the transformational leadership domains, only vision significantly predicted lower satisfaction. The findings underscore the importance of influence of transformational leadership and organizational climate collectively reinforce teacher commitment and satisfaction, securing vital human capital that drives long-term effectiveness and success in the institution. School leaders should apply transformational leadership and create positive climates, supporting balanced workloads and development to increase teachers’ job satisfaction and accomplishment.
