Abstract
This paper introduces NAV_AI, a practical AI- driven dynamic routing system that fuses real-time traffic feeds, historical road parameters, and compact machine-learning predictors to produce robust route recommendations. NAV_AI predicts short-horizon segment travel-times and integrates those predictions into a k-shortest-path enumeration and multi-criteria re-ranking strategy. We describe the end-to-end pipeline, fea- ture engineering, model training and serving, and optimization technique. Evaluation on a medium-sized urban graph shows an average travel-time reduction of 22%, ETA RMSE of 130 seconds, and low inference latency, demonstrating the feasibility of prediction-aware routing for production navigation services
