Abstract
Electric vehicles have grown in recent years because of its zero-emission of harmful gases and use of efficient
energy. However, the performance of an electric vehicle depends on the battery management system (BMS). The
goal of this paper is to design an Arduino-based electric vehicle BMS to monitor and control the charging and
discharging process of the battery. The BMS monitors the state of charge,temperature and voltage of each cell in the
battery pack.. The system uses a variety of sensors and indicators to provide information about battery life and
performance. The proposed BMS can help improve the performance and life of the battery pack, thus making the
electric vehicle more reliable and efficient transportation.
