Abstract
This paper presents the design and implementation of a solar powered anti-smuggling system for trees aimed at preventing illegal logging and improving forest security. The system uses a combination of sensors, microcontroller-based control, and wireless communication to detect unauthorized activities near trees. When abnormal vibrations or cutting attempts are detected, the system immediately sends alerts to concerned authorities using GSM/GPS technology, enabling real-time monitoring and quick response. The use of solar energy makes the system self-sustainable and suitable for remote forest areas where power supply is not available. The proposed model is cost-effective, reliable, and environmentally friendly. It helps in reducing illegal tree cutting, protecting natural resources, and promoting smart forestry practices. Future improvements include reducing system cost, increasing coverage for multiple trees, and integrating advanced IoT-based monitoring for better efficiency and scalability.
