Abstract
In the past few years, growing concerns about environmental waste issues, including global warming and energy resource constraints, have led to extensive research into new electricity generation technologies. Thermoelectric power generators have become a promising alternative to green technologies, thanks to their undeniable advantages. Thermoelectric generation offers a potential application in the direct conversion of thermal energy to electrical energy, where there is no need to take into account the cost of thermal energy. The purpose of these alternative green technologies is to convert waste thermal energy directly into electrical energy and to increase the overall energy conversion efficiency of the system. This paper provided background information on the basic concepts of thermoelectric power engineering, as well as a survey and discusses the most recent patent system of thermoelectric power engineering of important and relevant significance in the field of waste heat applications.
