Abstract

Nowadays, herbal lipsticks are becoming more and more popular due to the fact that natural cosmetics are safe and easy to use for women. Dyes can cause allergies and have naturally been found to cause cancer. The aim of this study includes the preparation and evaluation of herbal lipsticks using natural colorants such as carrot, beet, turmeric, tomato, pomegranate and cocoa. Various ingredients such as beeswax, carnauba wax, Vanilla extract, castor oil, soft white paraffin, strawberry extract, vitamin E and lemon juice are used to make herbal lipsticks. Herbal lipsticks have fewer side effects. To keep lips healthy, lipsticks with natural ingredients or herbal ones containing nutrients can be used. This review mainly focuses on the natural ingredients, formulation, extraction and imperfections of the lipstick. Herbal lipsticks have no side effects and that’s why we make herbal lipsticks. Also run Parameters such as quality, density, melting point, breaking point and pH parameters.
