Abstract
In seeking to improve the physical science education of all students, it is important to choose the right pedagogical that support the content knowledge of physical science. This study involves assessing the effectiveness and practicability and limitations of the FOLKLORE BASED MODEL in physical science of grade 8 students of Tamilnadu board of school education. In addition, how are ths is effective as an instructional practices? Last, how its uses are limited with respect to its classroom application. Therefore, the researcher selected the topic for the present study with the intention of applying the traditional Folklore as a methodology for the study of physical science in the Coimbatore District, with an emphasis on its effectiveness.
