Abstract

This paper examined the impact of external business environment on organizational performance of frozen fish companies in Nigeria. It also reveals literature on business environment, organizational performance and Nigeria business environment. Secondly a questionnaire was developed to collect information from the respondents based on a sample of 3 companies with 120 sample size. Data collected were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The study concluded that the external business environment political, economic, and technological and socio cultural etc have impact on organizational performance. Thus organization should understand the implications of organizational performance of their business activities in order identify, opportunities and threats to their business and organization.
