Abstract
The term paper focuses on the contribution of artificial intelligence to the field of cybersecurity in terms of enhancing threat detection, automating the security response process, and preventing cyberattacks through machine learning and deep learning methods. Different kinds of cyber attacks are discussed, including ransomware attacks, data breaches, and zero-day attacks, along with the potential of AI in detecting and responding to such attacks. AI security concerns, such as adversarial attacks and model theft, are also mentioned in the paper. Different types of hackers are introduced in the paper, including black hat hackers, white hat hackers, gray hat hackers, hacktivists, script kiddies, and insider attackers.
