Abstract
RoadGuardian AI is an intelligent transportation framework developed for automated road damage detection and predictive alert generation through the integration of Computer Vision, Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies. The proposed system utilizes OpenCV for image preprocessing, YOLO for roadway anomaly localization and CNN architectures for pavement distress classification. The framework is capable of identifying potholes, cracks and surface deterioration with substantial predictive accuracy and operational efficiency. In addition to damage detection, the system incorporates a Dashboard for infrastructure monitoring, an Assistant for transportation guidance and a Knowledge Center for roadway awareness. RoadGuardian AI enhances transportation safety, improves maintenance responsiveness and supports sustainable infrastructure management through intelligent computational analytics.
