Abstract
This paper proposes an improved personalized travel recommendation system that incorporates recency effects to enhance recommendation accuracy. Unlike traditional systems that rely on past data, the proposed model gives higher importance to recent user interactions using time-decay techniques. By combining collaborative and content-based filtering with temporal analysis, the system adapts to changing user preferences and provides more relevant and timely travel suggestions.
