Developing an interactive Web Map of Tourism Attractions in Thai Nguyen Province Using GIS

In the context that the digital transformation of the tourism industry is becoming an inevitable trend, the development of tools to support the search of visual destinations in Thai Nguyen province is an urgent requirement. This research focuses on the design and operation of an interactive Web map system to optimize the geographic information lookup experience for tourists when visiting the locality. By integrating GIS technology to manage spatial data combined with the Google Maps, the authors have successfully developed a flexible display interface on the web platform. The results of the experiment show that the system allows users to accurately locate, search for smart routes, and quickly access detailed information about scenic spots and historical sites. The product is expected to become an effective tourism promotion tool, contributing to promoting economic growth and improving the position of the tourism industry in Thai Nguyen province in the future.
