Abstract
According to the 2018 literature, environmental problems are worsening, particularly due to the reduced ability of plants to sequester carbon. Charcoal-driven deforestation also contributes heavily to air pollution, especially in Madagascar where investment in charcoal management remains limited. To address these issues, a study titled “Production of Green Energy for Its Economic and Environmental Valorization to Ensure Human Health” was conducted. Its aim was to assess the ecological and environmental role of the biogas sector, whose main goal is to reduce biological waste and lower gas emissions into the atmosphere. The study also seeks to promote biogas production from organic waste, protect the environment, and improve health by reducing dependence on charcoal, a major driver of deforestation.Overall, the valorization of biological waste can help solve both environmental and economic challenges while expanding forest areas and supporting economic development. Rumen waste, for example, can produce 900 liters of digestate per month, contributing to efforts to slow global warming and advance sustainable development.
