Abstract
This study investigates nurses' viewpoints on positive practice environments (PPE). Employing a descriptive survey and a one-shot case study design, data were collected from randomly selected nurses to assess how PPE influences nursing performance, patient outcomes, and healthcare quality. Findings reveal that a supportive work environment characterized by effective leadership, adequate staffing, resource availability, and inclusive decision-making significantly enhances nurse performance and patient care quality. Nurses reported that such environments foster professional growth, reduce job-related stress, and improve patient safety outcomes. These insights align with existing literature emphasizing the critical role of PPE in healthcare settings. Challenges identified include staffing shortages, limited resources, and insufficient nurse involvement in decision-making processes. Statistical analyses indicate significant relationships between nurses' demographic profiles and perceptions of PPE, suggesting that factors such as experience and educational background influence these viewpoints. The study underscores to cultivation of positive practice environments through strategic leadership, resource management, and policies that empower nurses. Implementing such measures is vital for enhancing nurse satisfaction, reducing turnover, and improving patient care outcomes.
