Abstract
This research adds a new dimension to the subject by providing a contemporary perspective on the impact that corporate activities have on customer perceptions in the industry of FMCG brands, which are the items that are most widely distributed in any country, but particularly in India. • In today's day and age, marketers aim to minimize costs in whatever way they can, which occasionally leads to them using unethical and unfair methods to gain an advantage over their competitors. This is in direct opposition to ethical marketing principles. • When it comes to ethical marketing, the answer is yes. If a brand is not adhering to ethical marketing principles, individuals will modify their choice for that brand. When a company actively participates in community upbringing and environmental conservation, consumers are more likely to want to purchase from and support the company. • Most people are aware of ethical marketing and understand why it is more important now than ever before. The consequences of unfair and unethical actions are severe if discovered, and the company is unable to recover from this stigma for an extended period of time. Consequently, it is preferable to adopt the ethical marketing guidelines.
