Abstract
Diabetes mellitus poses significant health risks, including diabetic foot ulcers and amputations. Early detection of foot pressure irregularities, indicative of diabetic neuropathy, is crucial. This study presents an intelligent foot pressure analysis system using sensors and machine learning to identify early diabetic foot issues. The system accurately detects subtle differences in foot pressure patterns, offering high accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity. Real-time monitoring enables timely interventions, potentially improving diabetic care. The field of podiatry and sports science and medical rehabilitation requires foot pressure measurement. The three main conditions include musculoskeletal disorders and diabetic foot ulcers and problems of gait. The product would be a smart insole which contains lucrative sensors that function to measure foot pressure in real time. The system uses pressure sensors to continuously monitor and evaluate foot pressure distribution patterns. The system includes an insole component. The sensor receives data which the embedded microcontroller processes before sending it wirelessly through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to a desktop.
