Abstract
Spam calls have become a major security and privacy concern for mobile users worldwide. Traditional filtering methods often fail to detect evolving spam patterns, leading to reduced user trust and productivity loss. This research proposes a machine learning-based approach to detect and block spam calls effectively. The model is trained on call metadata and behavioral features to classify calls as legitimate or spam in real-time. By applying supervised learning techniques, the proposed system improves accuracy and minimizes false positives compared to conventional rule-based filters. The study demonstrates that machine learning can provide a scalable and intelligent solution for spam call protection, thereby enhancing mobile communication security and user experience
