Abstract
As in other rapidly urbanizing societies, food waste and hunger are paradoxical issues that exist together in the world today. Meanwhile, online food ordering has seen unprecedented growth; one of the very modern trucking services provides commercial food ordering with a socially driven food donation system. Deligro allows users an option to order meals from vendors or donate surplus food to NGOs or shelters- fulfilling consumer ease and social responsibility equally. The system incorporates modern web technologies with React.js working on the front end, Node.js working with backend APIs, and a MongoDB storage system that allows the data to be dynamic. There are role-based access systems, real-time tracking, performance analytics, and an intuitive admin panel, which gives complete control over user actions and system logs. This paper discusses the design of the system, architecture, modules, evaluation metrics, and some enhancements in the future, providing insight into how web technologies can help implement sustainable food management.
