Abstract
The YouTube Layer application addresses critical workflow challenges faced by content creators in today's competitive digital landscape. This innovative platform streamlines the video production pipeline by establishing a direct bridge between editors and content creators, significantly reducing publication time and technical overhead. Built on a robust technology stack including Next.js, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, YouTube Layer delivers a seamless, responsive experience across web and mobile interfaces through Trusted Web Activities (TWA) implementation. The system's core functionality enables editors to upload completed videos with metadata directly to a centralized platform where creators can review and publish content to YouTube with minimal intervention. Key features include one-click publishing, automated metadata management, role-based access control, and real-time collaboration tools. User interface design prioritizes simplicity and efficiency, ensuring accessibility for teams of all sizes. Performance testing demonstrates substantial workflow optimization, with an average 68% reduction in publishing time compared to traditional methods.
