Abstract

This research paper presents the design and implementation of a College Event Management System developed using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack. The system aims to streamline and digitalize the process of managing college events by providing separate panels for users (students) and administrators. Users can register and log in using their credentials, browse ongoing and upcoming events, register for events, and view the events they have joined. The admin panel offers extensive control, including creating and deleting events, adding new administrators, marking student attendance, generating reports, and downloading participant lists. The intuitive dashboard provides real-time updates and simplifies the management process for event organizers. This system enhances engagement, improves accessibility, and reduces the manual workload associated with traditional event handling methods in educational institutions.
