Abstract
The Virtual Health Assistant (VHA) is an AI-powered web application developed to transform post-treatment patient care by integrating advanced AI/ML models for lab report analysis, recovery tracking, and hospital chain mapping. Designed with a secure cloud-based infrastructure, the system facilitates three user roles: Patients, Doctors, and Administrators—each benefiting from specialized functionalities such as AI-driven insights, real-time monitoring, and role-based access control. Key features include NLP-based lab report interpretation, machine learning-based recovery prediction, AI chatbot support, and robust security mechanisms including JWT authentication and multi-factor access control. Experimental results show high accuracy in lab analysis and effective recovery forecasting, highlighting the platform’s potential to enhance healthcare delivery, reduce manual workloads, and improve patient autonomy across interconnected hospital systems.
