Abstract
The construction industry plays a pivotal role in global carbon emissions, with concrete production being a significant contributor. This project focuses on the integration of carbon sequestration techniques into concrete, aiming to develop a sustainable and eco-friendly construction material. The primary objective of this research is to investigate various methods for capturing and storing carbon dioxide (CO2) within concrete structures during their lifecycle. The project encompasses a thorough examination of different carbon capture technologies, including mineralization, utilization of recycled materials, and direct air capture, with a specific emphasis on their applicability and effectiveness in the concrete industry
