Abstract
Diabetes and heart disease pose significant health risks globally, leading to
substantial costs and challenges for healthcare systems. This research investigates the
utilization of logistic regression and support vector machines (SVM) in early disease detection,
focusing on both heart disease and diabetes using clinical data. Despite encountering
challenges such as restricted dataset size and quality, our study reveals the potential of both
models in achieving accurate disease detection. These findings underscore the versatility of
logistic regression and SVM as effective tools for proactive disease identification, providing
valuable insights for enhancing patient healthcare.
