Through case studies including The Iliad, Panchatantra, Nasreddin Hodja Tales, Aesop's Fables, and Anansi Stories, it elucidates the cultural heritage and educational value embedded in folk literature. Addressing challenges like cultural appropriation and adaptation, the paper underscores the importance of ethical interpretation and cultural sensitivity. It examines folk literature's role in contemporary society, advocating for preservation efforts, educational integration, and identity formation.
