Abstract
This project focuses on the development and
implementation of a Number Plate Recognition System (NPRS)
utilizing advanced computer vision techniques. The system aims
to automate the process of identifying and recording vehicle
number plates for various applications such as law enforcement,
parking management, and traffic monitoring. By integrating deep
learning algorithms with image processing technologies, the
NPRS achieves high accuracy and efficiency in recognizing
number plates from images and video streams. Leveraging IoT
connectivity, the system enables real-time data capture and
analysis, facilitating seamless integration with existing
transportation infrastructure. Through extensive testing and
validation, the effectiveness of the NPRS in reducing manual
intervention and enhancing operational efficiency is
demonstrated. This project contributes to the advancement of
intelligent transportation systems by providing a reliable and
scalable solution for automated number plate recognition.
