Abstract
It is unclear how much the general population understands and feels about the donation of canine and feline blood. It may be possible to recruit blood donors more successfully if we have a better grasp of pet owners' attitudes towards donating. The purpose of this study was to learn more about how knowledgeable pet owners are about small animal blood donation as well as their attitudes and reasons for supporting their animal's decision to donate blood. 158 pet owners who came to a first-opinion veterinary clinic were the subjects of a written questionnaire containing both closed- and open-ended questions. A mixed methods technique was utilized to collect the data. 70% of owners had no idea that cats and dogs could donate blood. But 89% of respondents said that, if their pet was qualified, they would allow them to donate blood. The likelihood of this increased if the owner did not have any problem in voluntarily donating their pet blood. This will help in the cause, which we are making our platform for and it will help in making the lives of pet going smooth parallelly to human being. Our platform will also provide other animal health care facilities like their time- to-time vaccination, providing their pet owners the full nutrition plan of their pets. So our platform will be a medium for all the user to get connected and help the animal as much as they can in every possible way to improve the quality life of the animal.
