Abstract
Cultural diplomacy is a priority in China's overall foreign policy toward Southeast Asia - the geostrategic area has a direct influence on the goal of “great revival of the Chinese nation” by the middle of the 21st century. The process of implementing cultural diplomacy through cultural economic connection, promoting cultural communication, and strengthening cooperation in the cultural education of China has both contributed to deepen the relationship of cooperation and present the intention of strategic competition with major countries and increasing China's influence in the region.
