Abstract
Occupational Health and Safety is one of the most important services. Effective and efficient Occupational Health and Safety measures in industries lead to reduction in number of accidents and loss and injury to human lives, safety to assets, continuous production etc. But the hazards cannot be completely mitigated and thus there is a need to develop and implement Occupational Health and Safety policy in Industries that reduces accident risk to very low level. In the proposed research paper, 160 studies have been referred and 40 studies have been reviewed, on the theme of Occupational Health and Safety related practices in Mining Companies. Towards the end, a synthesis of reviewed work has also been attempted.
