Abstract
Water tank is a structure used to store water for supplying all households as drinking purpose, for industries as a coolant and irrigational water for agricultural farming in some areas. Water tanks are classified on bases of their shapes and position of structure. In this paper, we had discussed about the effect of rectangular and circular elevated water. For both the case different volume of water is consider. both shapes are analysis for earthquake forces with and without dampers and comparison will be done for both water tanks and base on results best water tank is selected.
