Abstract
The engine is the main part for various ‘on’ highway and ‘off’ highway applications. Safety and performance of engine is very important to avoid the hazards in automotive system. So, manufacturers developed the embedded electronic control system which is called as Electronic Control module, to make automotive system safer. For monitoring the function of engine, Electronic Control module is used. Electronic control module is the main part of engine which controls the series of actuators mounted on internal combustion engine to ensure the optimal engine performance. To test the software logic of ECM in different fault condition of signals from sensors and actuators, manual FMET testing was developed. But the drawback of manual FMET testing is time consuming and required more manual efforts. So, to overcome the drawbacks of manual FMET testing, this system is developed to test ECM in different fault condition automatically with the help of automation tool.
