Abstract
A compact 3 D stacked patch antenna is used for microwave head imaging application.Stacked patch technique is used to achieve unidirectional radiation pattern and folding technique is used to achieve resonance at lower frequency that are the requirements for imaging system.For multi band operation the frequency range is selected from 0-10 GHz,The resonant frequency of my design is chosen to be 2.55 GHz.At this operating frequency, the proposed highly directional antenna can detect tumour in human brain phantom.
