Abstract
Face recognition has been a fast growing, challenging for recognizing the face under different illuminations, pose variance, aging, occlusion, facial expression, low resolution etc. and interesting area in real time applications. Like boarder security, airports railway station where the identification and verification of person matters a lot especially when face is occluded. A large number of face recognition algorithms have been developed in last decades. In this paper an attempt is made to review a wide range of methods used for face recognition accurately. For this purpose LOPG with SSR enhancement technique will be included. With the help of automatic face detection misalignment algorithm Voila-Jones.
