Abstract
Today as the increasing demand of the wireless sensor network (WSN) because of their wide application areas, the congestion arise as main challenge to us. Because of the congestion the power loss, time delay, packet loss and energy waste increases abruptly that decreases the network performance. Limitation of WSN also involved life time of the network, the throughput, fairness and network efficiency. Many efforts keep going on from many years to mitigate or avoid the congestion. In this paper, we analyze, compare and presenting a view which classify the congestion control protocol on the basis of traffic control method.
