Abstract

This paper describes how to check the authenticity of a journal using the Web of Science (formerly Thomson Reuters). The majority of researchers do not know how to check the indexing of a journal in the Thomson Reuter’s database or in the Web of Science. In this study, we will use the research journal, Nature, as an example. The extensive indexing of the Web of Science includes ISI, SCI, SSCI, SCIE, ESCI, and AHCI.
