Abstract
This study examined the management strategies toward teachers’ interpersonal conflict in Maguindanao del Sur Division using the mixed method encompassing the basic process of quantitative and qualitative research. The respondents of the study are the central teachers in Maguindanao del Sur Division. And the participants of the study are the designated classroom teachers’ in the school year 2023-2024.
The result of the study means that most of the schools are gathering all relevant information about the issues before trying to solve it and discuss the school management strategies. On the level of teachers’ management strategies practices in terms of arbitration, communication, conciliation, mediation and negotiation, it was described as oftentimes. Furthermore, teachers interpersonal conflict such as affective, goal, interest, realistic versus nonrealistic, substantive and values. Moreover, teachers’ strategies and management has a significant relationship on interpersonal conflict such as affective, goal, interest, realistic versus nonrealistic, substantive and values. The teachers’ strategies and management has a significant influence on their interpersonal conflict.
In view of the findings, the management strategies of schools need to be sustained to continuously enhance the performance of teachers. The classroom teachers shall maintain the management strategies such as arbitration, communication, conciliation, mediation, and negotiation. All designated central school must be trained in handling common conflicts in school so that they can be guided on how to implement conflict resolution. The management strategies helps the teachers to have to be sustained to continuously enhance their ability to make things work together for the common good of the learners. In support of the School Programs, consider planning intervention activities by strengthening the school program in the elementary schools offering the strategies and management in elementary schools offering different guidance services in school.
