INVESTIGATING BEHAVIOR PROBLEMS IN CLASSROOM INSTRUCTIONS: A MIXED METHODS STUDY

This study investigates behavioral problems in classroom instruction A mixed Method Study and examines how these behaviors affect teaching and learning processes. The research aims to identify the most common types of student behavioral issues, their possible causes, and their impact on classroom management and academic performance. Using survey questionnaires and in-depth interviews to gather data from students. Findings of the study reveal that behavioral problems such as lack of attention, disruptive talking, non-compliance with instructions, and off-task behavior frequently occur during instructional time. These behaviors are influenced by factors such as learner motivation, classroom environment, teaching strategies, peer influence, and home-related issues. The convergence of data suggests that classroom problems are both students and teachers in terms of experience and management. This emphasizes the shared responsibility in addressing these challenges to improve classroom instruction and learning outcomes. The study recommends the implementation of positive behavior management strategies, improved teacher training in classroom management, and stronger collaboration between teachers, parents, and school administrators. Creating a supportive and engaging learning environment is also emphasized as a key approach to minimizing behavioral problems and enhancing effective classroom instruction.
