TO STUDY THE REACTIONS OF STUDENTS LEARNING THROUGH DIGITAL CLASSROOM FOR DEVELOPING LANGUAGE SKILLS

This study examines students’ reactions towards learning language skills through digital classrooms. With the growing integration of technology in education, digital learning environments have become more interactive and accessible. The study aimed to understand students’ perceptions, participation, satisfaction levels, and challenges related to digital classroom learning. A survey method was used, and a self-constructed reaction scale containing 25 statements was administered to Standard IX students from selected secondary schools. The tool focused on five dimensions: students’ interest, participation, usefulness of digital classrooms, obstacles in digital learning, and creative learning environment. Data were analyzed using frequency and percentage analysis. The findings revealed that most students showed positive attitudes towards digital classroom learning and actively participated in multimedia-based and collaborative activities. Digital classrooms were found effective in improving listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. However, some students faced technical and connectivity-related difficulties. Overall, the study concludes that digital classrooms provide an engaging and effective environment for language skill development.
