Abstract
This project aims to design a smart surveillance system that automatically detects unusual or suspicious activities in video streams using deep learning models combined with embedded hardware for real-time alerting. The system processes video data to identify anomalies—such as theft, unauthorized access, or abnormal behaviors—by classifying each frame with a trained neural network, and instantly notifies authorities or stakeholders when such events occur, thereby improving public safety and reducing reliance on manual monitoring.
