Abstract
वर्तमान अध्ययन का उद्देश्य उच्चतर माध्यमिक विद्यालय के छात्रों की भावनात्मक बुद्धिमत्ता (EI), बहु-बुद्धि (MI), सामाजिक-आर्थिक स्थिति (SES) और शैक्षणिक उपलब्धि के बीच संबंध का परीक्षण करना है। इसके लिए 200 विद्यार्थियों का चयन स्तरीकृत यादृच्छिक नमूना पद्धति से किया गया। विद्यार्थियों पर भावनात्मक बुद्धिमत्ता मापक, बहु-बुद्धि प्रश्नावली तथा सामाजिक-आर्थिक स्थिति पैमाना का उपयोग किया गया, जबकि शैक्षणिक उपलब्धि को विद्यालय परीक्षा के औसत अंक से मापा गया। परिणामों से पता चला कि EI और MI का शैक्षणिक उपलब्धि के साथ उच्च सकारात्मक सहसंबंध है, जबकि SES का प्रभाव मध्यम पाया गया। प्रतिगमन विश्लेषण से ज्ञात हुआ कि EI और MI शैक्षणिक उपलब्धि के प्रमुख भविष्यवक्ता हैं। यह अध्ययन स्पष्ट करता है कि शैक्षणिक सफलता केवल सामाजिक-आर्थिक कारकों पर निर्भर नहीं करती, बल्कि भावनात्मक और संज्ञानात्मक क्षमताएँ अधिक निर्णायक भूमिका निभाती हैं।
