In the current world scenario, we are on the track of becoming more and more sophisticated through technology, globalization, and added values of multi-disciplinary education among the students and researchers. It is always the thoughts and policies that shape and upgrade our society. Looking back at the historical context of Indian education, we find a rich tradition of thought schools emphasizing a broad range of disciplines. However, through the decay of our culture and further intervention of foreign policy makers, our education gradually become monotonous in the 18th and 19th centuries which focused solely on achieving literacy and has persisted to this day. Although the educational reforms were started in early 1970’s but it took almost 50 years in implementation of those reforms in the shape of NEP 2020.
