Abstract
This project explores the implementation of innovative artistic strategies to enhance engagement and learning outcomes for students with hearing impairments in special education classrooms. By integrating visual arts, music, and movement, this study aims to create a multisensory learning environment that fosters inclusion, creativity, and social interaction. The research investigates the impact of artistic interventions on student motivation, academic achievement, and communication skills, with a focus on developing evidence-based practices for special education teachers. A mixed-methods approach combines quantitative data from student assessments and surveys with qualitative insights from teacher interviews, observation, and case studies. The findings will inform the development of an innovative artistic framework for special education, providing educators with effective tools to promote engagement, accessibility, and academic success for students with hearing impairments. By bridging the gap between art and special education, this project has the potential to transform the learning experience for students with hearing impairments, enhancing their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
