Abstract

This study explored the effectiveness of using technology as an intervention to improve students' reading comprehension skills. Employing a quasi-experimental design, the research involved 60 students who were given a pretest to assess their initial reading ability. The participants underwent a 10-session intervention that integrated technological tools aimed at enhancing reading comprehension. After the intervention, a posttest was administered to measure progress. Statistical analyses, including class proficiency levels and t-tests, were used to determine the significance of the results. Findings revealed a statistically significant improvement in students' reading performance from pretest to posttest. These results suggest that the integration of technology in reading instruction can significantly enhance students’ reading comprehension. Thus, the study recommends the use of technology as an effective intervention for improving reading abilities among students.
