Abstract
This study investigates the influence of emotional well-being and career preparedness of selected senior high school students in the Monkayo East and West District, Davao de Oro, Philippines. A quantitative research design, specifically correlational survey, was employed. The respondents comprised 277 senior high students from give selected schools within the district. Data were collected using modified questionnaires. The results indicate that senior high school students in Monkayo East and West District exhibit a moderate level of emotional well-being and career preparedness. Furthermore, the correlation analysis revealed a positive relationship between emotional well-being and career preparedness. It was also revealed that there are domains of emotional well-being that predict students’ career preparedness. These findings underscore the importance of emotional well-being and the role of students in improving learners’ career preparedness. Recommendations include activities that would benefit the learners in increasing their active participation which promote well-being of the learners.
