Abstract
This study investigated the impact of leadership and administrative practices on teacher performance and job satisfaction in a public elementary school. There were 120 teachers at Magugpo Pilot Central Elementary School who were chosen as the respondents of the study. A descriptive-correlational quantitative design was used, employing validated questionnaires. Leadership practices were measured across six domains, while teacher performance and job satisfaction were assessed using the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers and Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory, respectively. Findings revealed that leadership and administrative practices, teacher performance, and job satisfaction were all rated as high. Significant positive correlations were found between leadership practices and both performance and satisfaction. Regression analysis identified key leadership indicators as significant predictors of teacher outcomes. The study concluded that effective leadership enhances teacher competence and morale. It recommended targeted professional development and supportive leadership strategies to improve performance and satisfaction.
